Open Heavens 7 March 2026 Saturday – When There Is Light II

7 There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water: Jesus saith unto her, Give me to drink.
8 (For his disciples were gone away unto the city to buy meat.)
9 Then saith the woman of Samaria unto him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? for the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans.
10 Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.
11 The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water?
12 Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle?
13 Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again:
14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.
15 The woman saith unto him, Sir, give me this water, that I thirst not, neither come hither to draw.
16 Jesus saith unto her, Go, call thy husband, and come hither.
17 The woman answered and said, I have no husband. Jesus said unto her, Thou hast well said, I have no husband:

29 Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ?

MESSAGE: – Open Heavens 7 March 2026 Saturday Daily Devotional
One of my spiritual daughters, a friend and former classmate of my wife, had a big problem – cancer of the voice box. The doctors said that the only way to keep her alive was to remove her voice box, meaning that she would never talk again. They did, and from then on, she could no longer speak. However, we kept praying for her, believing that God would heal her.
One day, I had just returned from a trip when I saw a woman rolling on the floor. When she looked up, I saw that it was my wife’s friend, and she said, “It’s me, Daddy. I can talk again.”
Beloved, you cannot receive the kind of miracle in the story above and not testify. That is the kind of miracle that will make everyone around you acknowledge that only God could have made it happen. When the Light of the World visits a person, that fellow will not be able to keep his or her mouth shut. The Samaritan woman in today’s Bible reading became an evangelist the moment she encountered the Light. She went into her city, telling everyone to come and see the Light. You cannot have the Light and hide it under a bushel (Matthew 5:15).
The Light doesn’t only come with blessings and miracles; He also comes with assignments and responsibilities. After the madman of Gadara was delivered in Mark 5:2-20, Jesus gave him an assignment to tell others about his miracle. A fellow cannot come into the Light and continue to live a purposeless life. In the Light, you are commissioned to do God’s will. After the madman’s deliverance, he went everywhere telling people, “I was once a madman living in tombs, but I met the Light. Now, I am an evangelist.”
Likewise, when the Light found Peter, he became a fisher of men. When Paul came into this glorious Light, he became a renowned missionary, taking the gospel everywhere. You cannot come into the Light and remain idle. The Light empowers people to go into the world and preach the gospel to all creatures (Mark 16:15).
Beloved, wherever you go, God wants you to shine His light. Make it your life’s mission to tell everyone you come across about the marvelous Light that has set you free. I pray for you today that the Light will visit you and give you a testimony that you won’t be able to hide. You will tell a new story and sing a new song, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer Points for Open Heavens 7 March 2026 – When There Is Light II”
1. Father, I thank You for being the Light of the World. Thank You that when Your light shines, testimonies are birthed, and lives are transformed forever, in Jesus’ name.
2. Lord, I ask for mercy for every time I have hidden my testimony, remained silent about Your goodness, or failed to shine the light You have given me, in Jesus’ name.
3. Father, let Your light shine upon me today in a dimension that will produce an undeniable testimony. Visit every area of my life that needs Your touch—heal me, deliver me, and transform me, in Jesus’ name.
4. Lord, just as You healed the woman with cancer of the voice box and restored her speech, I pray for complete healing and restoration in every area of my life where the enemy has attacked. Let my testimony be undeniable, in Jesus’ name.
5. Father, give me the boldness of the Samaritan woman. After encountering You, let me leave my waterpot—every distraction, every excuse, every fear—and run to tell others about the Light I have found, in Jesus’ name.
6. Lord, I receive the commission to shine Your light. Wherever I go, let my life, my words, and my testimony draw others to You. Make me a fisher of men and a bearer of good news, in Jesus’ name.
7. Father, like the madman of Gadara who was sent to tell his friends what the Lord had done for him, give me a clear assignment and the grace to fulfill it. Let my testimony lead many to salvation, in Jesus’ name.
8. Lord, I refuse to live a purposeless life. In Your light, I find my purpose and my assignment. Use me mightily for Your kingdom, in Jesus’ name.
9. Father, for everyone reading this who has a testimony they have not shared, give them the courage to speak. Let their story inspire faith and draw others to the Light, in Jesus’ name.
10. My personal prayer point: (Mention specific testimonies you have not shared and ask for boldness to shine your light, or specific miracles you are believing God for that will become undeniable testimonies).
11. Thank You, Father, for visiting me with Your light. I will not hide it; I will shine for all to see and give glory to Your name, in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
