Open Heavens 26 June 2026 Friday – Seeing Eyes

1 Now there cried a certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets unto Elisha, saying, Thy servant my husband is dead; and thou knowest that thy servant did fear the LORD: and the creditor is come to take unto him my two sons to be bondmen.
2 And Elisha said unto her, What shall I do for thee? tell me, what hast thou in the house? And she said, Thine handmaid hath not any thing in the house, save a pot of oil.
3 Then he said, Go, borrow thee vessels abroad of all thy neighbours, even empty vessels; borrow not a few.
4 And when thou art come in, thou shalt shut the door upon thee and upon thy sons, and shalt pour out into all those vessels, and thou shalt set aside that which is full.
5 So she went from him, and shut the door upon her and upon her sons, who brought the vessels to her; and she poured out.
6 And it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said unto her son, Bring me yet a vessel. And he said unto her, There is not a vessel more. And the oil stayed.
7 Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, Go, sell the oil, and pay thy debt, and live thou and thy children of the rest.

MESSAGE: – Open Heavens 26 June 2026 Friday Daily Devotional
Today’s Bible reading tells us about a widow who was about to lose her sons to slavery because her late husband left behind a huge debt. She was in a desperate situation, and in her desperation, she ran to Prophet Elisha and shared her plight with him. After telling the prophet about her troubles, he asked her what she had in her house, and she replied, “Nothing, except a pot of oil.” She thought that what she had was little, but she didn’t realize that it was all she needed to become financially free.
Sometimes, you don’t need more than what you already have in order to receive what God has in store for you.
All that the widow in today’s Bible reading needed to have a financial breakthrough had been in her house all along, but she didn’t know it. It took Elisha’s instructions on what to do with what she had to help her experience the potential of the little’ that was in her possession. If God had opened her eyes to see what He could do with the little she had, she would have never been in distress. I pray that the Almighty God will open your eyes to see the solutions He has put around you, in Jesus’ name.
In today’s memory verse, the Bible says that the ears that hear and the eyes that see were made by the Lord. This means that a person can be surrounded by prosperity; however, if God doesn’t enable that person to see the opportunities, He has placed around him or her, such a person can die in poverty. Having eyes that see is more than just having physical eyes. When you have eyes that see, you will see opportunities where others see challenges and abundance where others see scarcity.
When God opened Isaac’s eyes to see opportunities in the midst of famine, he became so wealthy that the Philistines began to envy him because he had become wealthier than them (Genesis 26:1 2-1 6).
Beloved, in order to thrive, you need to have eyes that see. You need to see beyond the ordinary to achieve extraordinary results. Over the next few days, I will share the importance of having seeing eyes and why you should ask the Lord for them. I pray that my Daddy will give you seeing eyes so you will see opportunities where others see obstacles and experience breakthroughs where others experience oppositions, in Jesus’ name.

Lord, please give me seeing eyes so l can make the best of the opportunities You have put around me.

Prayer Points for Open Heavens 26 June 2026 – Seeing Eyes
1. Father, I thank You for being the Creator of the hearing ear and the seeing eye. Thank You for the ability to see, both physically and spiritually, in Jesus’ name.
2. Lord, I ask for mercy for every time I have looked at my situation and seen only lack, when You had already placed the solution within my reach, in Jesus’ name.
3. Father, open my eyes to see the opportunities You have placed around me. Let me not miss my season of visitation because of spiritual blindness, in Jesus’ name.
4. Lord, like the widow who had a pot of oil but did not know its potential, reveal to me the hidden resources and solutions You have already placed in my possession, in Jesus’ name.
5. Father, give me seeing eyes that recognize opportunities where others see challenges, and abundance where others see scarcity, in Jesus’ name.
6. Lord, I pray for Isaac’s anointing—that even in the midst of famine, I will sow and reap a hundredfold, and become so prosperous that even my enemies will acknowledge God’s favor upon my life, in Jesus’ name.
7. Father, deliver me from the spirit of limitation and shortsightedness. Help me to see beyond the natural into the supernatural, and to trust You for the impossible, in Jesus’ name.
8. Lord, I pray for every believer who is surrounded by prosperity but cannot see it because their eyes are closed. Open their eyes, Lord, and let them step into the abundance You have prepared for them, in Jesus’ name.
9. Father, teach me to see what You see and to value what You value. Let my perspective be aligned with Your eternal purposes, in Jesus’ name.
10. My personal prayer point: (Mention specific areas where you need “seeing eyes”—finances, career, ministry, relationships—and ask God to open your eyes to the opportunities He has placed there).
11. Thank You, Father, for the promise that when You open my eyes, I will see wonders in Your law and wonders in my life. I receive seeing eyes today, in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
