Open Heavens 1 March 2026 Sunday – Deliverance From Generational Curses

27 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will sow the house of Israel and the house of Judah with the seed of man, and with the seed of beast.

28 And it shall come to pass, that like as I have watched over them, to pluck up, and to break down, and to throw down, and to destroy, and to afflict; so will I watch over them, to build, and to plant, saith the LORD.

29 In those days they shall say no more, The fathers have eaten a sour grape, and the children’s teeth are set on edge.

30 But every one shall die for his own iniquity: every man that eateth the sour grape, his teeth shall be set on edge.

31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:

MESSAGE: – Open Heavens 1 March 2026 Sunday Daily Devotional

A 33-year-old married woman once came to me for prayers. Her problem was that she was still bedwetting, and it was causing her terrible embarrassment. I told her that it wasn’t a problem and that God would give her a brand-new bladder. However, before I prayed, she said, “Sir, I’m not the only one suffering from this in my family.” She proceeded to tell me that her mother, grandmother, and all the women in her family were bedwetters. Immediately, I knew that her problem was generational.

On probing further, I discovered that the problem started when her grandmother had an issue with someone who pronounced a curse on her, saying, “Henceforth, every woman in your family will bed-wet.” I told her, “Give your life to Jesus Christ, and you will leave that bloodline and become a new creature.” She gave her life to Jesus and returned the following day, radiating with joy. This time, she didn’t come alone; she had other women in her family with her. She told me that for the first time in as far back as she could remember, she slept all through the night without bedwetting. The other women who came with her all surrendered their lives to Jesus, and that was the end of the curse. I have good news for you: if a curse has been affecting your family for generations, it is terminated today, in Jesus’ name.

When people come into God’s family, He makes everything new in their lives (2 Corinthians 5:17), and they become partakers of generational blessings. Anything that had previously hindered and limited such people in their lineages will no longer have any power over them because they have come into a new family, God’s family. In this divine family, there is life, prosperity, wisdom, fruitfulness, joy, peace, and every other good thing. Abundant life is the inheritance of everyone who is in God’s family, and in areas where they may have suffered from the sins of their earthly ancestors, God promises to visit them with His unfailing and sure mercies (Exodus 20:6).

In God, the proverb that the fathers have eaten sour grapes and the children’s teeth are set on edge no longer holds Jeremiah 31:29-30). When a fellow comes into Christ, he or she becomes a partaker of God’s divine nature, and abundant blessings become part of the fellow’s daily life- this is the heritage of every believer. Beloved, are you a part of God’s family?

Prayer Points for Open Heavens 1 March 2026 – DELIVERANCE FROM GENERATIONAL CURSES

1. Father, I thank You for being the God who blesses us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Thank You for the new covenant and the power to become a new creature, in Jesus’ name.

2. Lord, I ask for mercy for every sin of my ancestors that has opened doors to generational curses, afflictions, and limitations in my life and family line, in Jesus’ name.

3. Father, I declare that by the blood of Jesus Christ, every generational curse—whether pronounced by man, inherited through bloodline, or activated by ancestral sin—is broken and terminated over my life today, in Jesus’ name.

4. Lord, just as the bedwetting curse was broken when the woman surrendered her life to You, I surrender my life afresh to You. Let every curse affecting my family for generations come to an end now, in Jesus’ name.

5. Father, according to 2 Corinthians 5:17, I am a new creature in Christ. Old things are passed away, and all things have become new. I step out of my earthly bloodline into the divine family of God, in Jesus’ name.

6. Lord, I receive Your promise in Jeremiah 31:29-30 that the proverb of fathers eating sour grapes and children’s teeth being set on edge no longer applies to me. Every person shall die for their own iniquity, and I am free, in Jesus’ name.

7. Father, visit me and my household with Your unfailing and sure mercies, as promised in Exodus 20:6. Let every pattern of failure, sickness, poverty, and misfortune in my lineage be replaced with Your generational blessings, in Jesus’ name.

8. Lord, I pray for every family represented here. Wherever there is a known or unknown curse operating—whether of barrenness, untimely death, mental illness, marital failure, or poverty—I decree deliverance and termination now, in Jesus’ name.

9. Father, because I am in Christ, I am a partaker of Your divine nature and abundant life. Let prosperity, wisdom, fruitfulness, joy, and peace become my daily inheritance, in Jesus’ name.

10. My personal prayer point: (Mention specific patterns, afflictions, or limitations in your family line that you are believing God to break).

11. Thank You, Father, for delivering me from generational curses and making me a partaker of Your eternal blessings. I walk in freedom and abundance, in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
