Open Heavens 8 February 2026 Sunday – Open Up To Him

20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.
22 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

MESSAGE: – Open Heavens 8 February 2026 Sunday Daily Devotional
James 4:7 says clearly that you should submit yourself unto God, then resist the devil, and he will flee from you. The devil cannot flee from you if you have not submitted totally to God. If you are not yet born again, Jesus Christ, the Light, wants to come into your life. He wants to give you a brand-new beginning, but He will not force Himself into your heart unless you open the door to Him voluntarily. He said in today’s Bible reading that He is knocking on the door of your heart, and if you open up to Him, He will come in.
If He keeps knocking on a person’s heart and the person keeps refusing to open, a day will come when it will be too late for the person to open his or her heart to Him again. On that day, the person’s heart will stop beating, and if Jesus is not already in it by then, no matter how much the person pleads, such a person will find himself or herself in hell, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. This is why I am appealing to you to open up your heart to Him now if you haven’t done so yet.
Many people claim to have accepted Jesus as their Lord and Saviour, but they haven’t truly submitted to Him as certain aspects of their lives are still ordered by their flesh.
Many of such people go to church, while some are even church workers and ministers, but they are really not different from people in the world. When a person truly submits to the Lordship of Jesus, He becomes the supreme authority over such a fellow’s life. Whatever He says is what the fellow must do.
Jesus is the Light, and He is the only one who can drive darkness out of a person’s life. Darkness is sure to reign supreme in the lives of those who haven’t opened up their hearts to Jesus, even if they claim to be Christians. When darkness reigns in a person’s life, failure, defeat, sorrow, retrogression, and every evil thing will fill such a fellow’s life. Can you truly say that Jesus, the Light, is in total control of your life?
Beloved, if you are yet to truly submit to Jesus Christ, He is knocking at the door of your heart. Open your heart to Him today, and He will give you a glorious hope for the future (1 Peter 1:3-5).

Prayer Points for Open Heavens 8 February 2026 Sunday – OPEN UP TO HIM
1. Father, I thank You for Your persistent love and for Jesus who stands at the door of my heart, knocking; thank You that today is the accepted time for salvation, in Jesus’ name.
2. Lord, I ask for mercy for every time I have heard Your knock but hesitated, for every area of my life where I have claimed Your name but withheld full control from Your Lordship, in Jesus’ name.
3. I open the door of my heart completely to You, Lord Jesus; come in and take total control. Be the supreme authority over my thoughts, desires, decisions, and actions from this day forward, in Jesus’ name.
4. Father, drive out every form of darkness from my life—failure, defeat, sorrow, and retrogression—with Your glorious light, and let Your light reign supreme within me, in Jesus’ name.
5. Holy Spirit, help me to submit myself wholly to God daily; break every resistance of my flesh and pride, that I may resist the devil effectively and see him flee, in Jesus’ name.
6. Lord, let this total surrender mark a brand-new beginning for me; fill me with Your glorious hope for the future and anchor my soul in Your eternal promises, in Jesus’ name.
7. I renounce every aspect of my life that has been ordered by my flesh and not by Your Spirit; I yield every compartment to Your loving command, in Jesus’ name.
8. Father, according to Your promise, grant me the grace to overcome the world, the flesh, and the devil, that I may be granted to sit with Christ in His throne, in Jesus’ name.
9. Use my life as a testimony of true transformation; let my genuine submission to Christ be evident to all, drawing others to open their hearts to You, in Jesus’ name.
10. My personal prayer point: (Mention any specific area of your life—relationships, finances, habits, secrets—where you need to fully open the door to Christ’s control).
11. Thank You, Father, for coming in. I am saved, I am submitted, and I am Yours forever. My heart is Your home, in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
